No parent likes to resort to begging, coaxing, screaming, or threatening to get their kids to cooperate. It just doesn’t feel good and it doesn’t work. Learning to use playfulness and creativity takes away the power struggle and enhances parent’s connection with their children. It also feels better and helps build a positive relationship. Join Jody Pierce over Zoom to learn ways to introduce this approach with your children. Please email Jody at the address above to register.

Everything is different now and we can’t celebrate the holidays like we have for years. Feeling some sadness and disappointment with the changes?  Most of us do!  Working on our perspective helps, as can finding ways to help others. Join the Zoom meeting to hear more and learn about some ways to structure your holidays in spite of the changes. The class will be held on Thursday, December 10 at 11 a.m. Please email Jody Pierce, the program facilitator at jody@pennockcounseling.org to receive the Zoom link or call Jody at 303-655-9065, Ext. 16.
