Support Groups & Classes
We offer a variety of groups and classes to the community. If you have an interest in a subject that is not currently being offered, we would like to know! Please contact the center at 303-655-9065 ext. 25 for additional group information.
Parenting Classes
The center periodically offers parenting classes to support parents in the challenging job of parenting. Classes may include a variety of parenting ideas including: giving parents new ideas for dealing with challenging behavior, for teaching responsibility-taking and for enhancing the parent/child relationship.
Grief Support Groups
We offer grief support groups designed to provide helpful grief education and support to those who have suffered a loss. Having a supportive group who knows about what you are experiencing can bring great comfort.
School Groups
One way the staff is involved in the community is through facilitation of groups for children within the schools. These groups focus on peer relationships, self-control and behavior change. The groups help children be more effective in the school setting.
