Noemi Flores, MSW, SWC
Over the years of working and residing in Brighton, I have experienced firsthand the overwhelming need for accessible mental health services within the community. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve within this area with a group of people who are passionate about the work they do.
I hold a master’s degree in social work from Metropolitan State University, as well as a certification from the National Acupuncture and Detoxification Association. Throughout my years serving in the community, I have gained an extensive amount of experience working with youth and young adults. I am also very familiar with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am bilingual and bicultural and aim to provide culturally responsive therapy. My therapeutic approach focuses on meeting my clients where they are and working collaboratively to reach their goals.
As a therapist, I aim to focus on client strengths while incorporating cognitive and behavioral approaches. I provide a safe and empathic environment while challenging clients to break cycles. My goal is to help clients build a toolbox of strategies that they can use beyond their therapeutic journey.
In my free time I enjoy paddleboarding, hiking, food, and travel. I look forward to continuing my involvement in the Brighton community!
