Endings are unavoidable and difficult, but give us a chance to express things that might otherwise not get said.
This ending for me is hard but it gives me the opportunity to convey the gratitude I feel for everything I’ve experienced at Pennock Center. I feel extremely grateful for the way clients have trusted and honored me in their sharing and recovery. I will remember the people and stories that touched me and the things I learned from them. I’m grateful for the compassionate and highly skilled staff and interns I’ve had the privilege of working with over the years. To see our staff working hard to help others who at times have intractable problems is inspiring. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of caring individuals who are dedicated to providing the best mental health care possible. I will cherish these relationships always. I’m grateful to our board members and their commitment to our mission and attention to keeping us on course. And I’m grateful for the backing of our community, the confidence they have shown us, and their desire to help our community members thrive.
Our founder, Penny Pennock, recognized the need people have for healing and wholeness and this defined the mission of our organization. Countless individuals and families have received the affordable services they needed and I’m confident that Pennock Center will continue to find ways to address and enhance the lives of those in need.
With gratitude,
Jody
